Samsung today introduced the Samsung SGH-L870 a S60 smart phone with a slider form factor. With a stainless steel body fully packed with the Symbian 9.3 OS and S60 3.2 platform, the Samsung L870 aims to provide a stylish output tool. The Samsung SGH-L870 measures 103.5 by 50.5 by 13.5 mm, and sports a modest keypad designed to provide enough space between each key to provide improved convenience. The Samsung SGH-L870 also offers pre-installed applications such as a Web-kit based S60 browser, Quick office document viewer, PIM home screen, Team manager and a business card recognition function. Like a tailored pair of suit, every millimeter of L870 is carefully custom-designed to match the user’s lifestyle. The Samsung L870 will have tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support plus HSDPA 3.6Mbps for fast wireless data transfers. The only thing that lacks in the L870 is that it lacks Wi-Fi functionality.
